MSc (with Distinction) Psychological Research Methods (2015) Expertise SummaryīSc 1 st class hons psychology degree 2011 - 2014 Beverley drove a little red van, delivering mail and parcels to homes and businesses across North Nottinghamshire. Prior to entering academia, she was a postal worker for the Royal mail. Her work with ORBIT involves working with children and adolescent who lives with Tourette's syndrome or a chronic tic condition. Beverley's research interests are primarily in atypical neurodevelopment. This was to harness a better understanding of how these behaviours differ in those with neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions. Specifically, she used non-invasive brain stimulation techniques to investigate contagious and impulsive behaviours. During her PhD she investigated the Neural and Social Correlates of Automatic Behaviours. Beverley completed her PhD in Psychology/Neuroscience here at the University of Nottingham. Previous to this Beverley was a research fellow working on the ORBIT clinical trial.
